House of Intrigue board game

Intrikák háza is a board game for 2 to 5 players aged 8 and up, set in the ballroom of a queen, where courtiers and nobles compete for influence. A typical game lasts 20 to 30 minutes and is designed for indoor play. Each turn you receive three cards: one is placed at the queen's table to shift a family's influence up or down, while the other two are played onto your own estate or that of an opponent. The points these cards score depend on the influence of the family involved, so placement is the key decision.

The box contains 90 courtier cards, 20 secret mission cards and a playmat. Turns run clockwise until the draw pile is empty and no player holds any cards. Each player then totals their victory points, and the one with the most wins. At 400 grams, the game is light enough to take along, and its straightforward rules make it suitable for family game nights.
