HERTZ MPK 165P.3 2-way 165 cm component speaker

The Hertz MPK 165P.3 is a two-way 165 mm component speaker set designed for car audio installation. It combines a 165 mm woofer with a 25 mm tweeter featuring a Tetolon dome and a passive crossover set to 4 kHz. The woofer uses a V-cone paper cone reinforced with cotton fibres and a 14 mm voice coil with a 3 ohm impedance, driven by a 95 mm ferrite magnet for controlled, punchy bass with good dynamics.

The tweeter's neodymium motor and centre tuning duct deliver smooth, detailed reproduction in the upper range. The crossover includes a two-position level switch (0/+2.5 dB), so the tweeter can be matched to the mounting position and personal taste. Rated at 115 W RMS and 93 dB sensitivity, the set is suited to pairing with a capable amplifier.
