HERTZ HMS 10 B2-LD-C 25 cm hajós subwoofer 2 Ohm

The Hertz HMS 10 B2-LD-C is a 25 cm (10-inch) marine subwoofer designed for installation without an enclosure, making it a practical choice for boats and other watercraft. Its 2 ohm impedance is intended to help compatible amplifiers deliver their power more effectively, while the 600 W power rating is tuned for dynamic low-frequency reproduction. The single voice coil design with a 50 mm (2-inch) coil keeps wiring simple.

The long-excursion driver features a FEM-optimised moving system driven by a large magnet assembly. By handling the lowest frequencies, it relieves the main speakers, which the manufacturer says results in tighter, more powerful bass. The polypropylene cone has UV inhibitors, the surround is made of Santoprene, and the basket is injection-moulded from marine-grade polymer. The manufacturer states that the design was tested against UV exposure, salt mist, vibration, water spray and thermal shock.

At an installation depth of 191 mm, the subwoofer fits most vessels. It carries an IP65 rating, protecting it against dust and low-pressure water jets from any direction.
