Herman Ottó - A birds and fák napja Magyarországon

In 1906 Herman Ottó, an excellent polymath and nature diver, turned to the public with the request that the Day of Birds and Trees be enshrined in law and that more attention be paid to this topic in the field of education. As an example, he gave the United States of America, where the day of birds and trees had been established and observed years before. Thus, it is thanks to Ottó Herman's activities that more than 100 years later, i.e. nowadays, we commemorate and celebrate the day of birds and trees every year on May 10 I.
