HERBYS Thyme essential oil ct. thymol food grade 5 ml

This Kakukkfű essential oil of thyme comes from the thymol chemotype (ct. thymol), which is considered the most powerful and characterful of the thyme oils. Supplied in food-grade quality, it is suitable for flavouring foods and drinks in small quantities.

Its scent is intense, spicy and warmly herbal, evoking the distinctive aromas of Mediterranean cooking. The thymol chemotype has a slightly pungent character, so it is best dosed drop by drop.

The oil can be used for aromatherapy in a diffuser, and, when properly diluted, as an ingredient in massage oils and homemade cosmetics. In the kitchen it is excellent for seasoning meat, marinades, sauces, olive oil and vinegar.
