This food-grade star anise oil is made from the fruit of the star anise plant and offers a distinctive sweet, spicy flavour reminiscent of aniseed. It is a popular seasoning in the kitchen, as just a few drops are enough to flavour dishes and drinks.
The concentrated oil contains the aroma and flavour compounds of star anise and is well suited to seasoning cakes and pastries, teas, liqueurs and syrups, as well as Asian-style dishes, soups and meat recipes.
The 10 ml glass bottle with a tight-closing lid keeps the aroma intact over a long period. The product contains only 100% star anise oil with no additives. Add it drop by drop and adjust the intensity to taste. Store in a cool place away from light.
