Carcassonne: Die Obstbäume (The Fruit-Bearing Trees) is a mini expansion for the Carcassonne game consisting of 6 new tiles and 24 fruit tokens.

The city of Carcassonne is surrounded by fruit trees. The more fruits you offer to the residents, the more income you can earn.

At the beginning of the game, mix the fruit tree tiles with all the others. Sort the fruit tokens by type, then mix them up by type.

During the game, when someone draws a fruit tree tile, they place the tile according to the normal rules and then place 4 of any fruit type (same fruits) on it. You can then place a piece on it according to the normal rules, but you cannot place a piece on the tree separately. After you have placed a dummy, you can choose from 2 extra actions: harvest a fruit or sell previously harvested fruits. When harvesting, you get the token score of the fruit you just took, and when selling, the more different tokens you have previously acquired, the more points you get. All players who later place pieces on tiles next to the fruit tree tile can also choose from the bonus actions.

It's just an add-on, it requires the base game.

The game is in GERMAN. In order to understand the rules of the game, knowledge of the German language is also required.
