By tradition, we usually mean the spiritual goods left to us from our ancestors, while the words legacy or inheritance denote the material goods handed down to us. The tradition is passed down through word of mouth. More or less every person is a master teacher of this ancient ``out-of-school folk education'', yet there are masters who are born for the transmission and reception of tradition, just as folk poetry and folk songs are not composed by all members of the people, but their excellences are born for this.
