Granoro Basil Pasta Sauce is a ready-to-use tomato sauce in a 370 g jar, designed for quick pasta dishes. Its base is tomato puree, making up 92 percent of the recipe, enriched with carrot, onion, extra virgin olive oil and basil. The ingredient list is short and easy to follow.
Serve it straight over spaghetti, penne or other pasta shapes, or use it as a base for bakes and ragùs. The carrot adds a gentle sweetness, the olive oil gives the sauce a rounded flavour, and the basil brings a classic Mediterranean note.
With only 0.4 percent salt, the sauce leaves plenty of room to adjust the seasoning to your taste or to add fresh vegetables, minced meat or cheese.
