5.3K video provides 91% more resolution than 4K and yes, 665% more than 1080p! HERO11 Black captures footage with incredible detail and almost cinematic image quality. The water-repellent lens protector even helps eliminate lens flare and other distortions to make your photos and videos even more impressive.

HERO11 Black's new sensor increases photo resolution to 27MP while recording 5.3K video at 60 FPS. Meanwhile, you can take stunning 24.7MP stills of your favorite moments. Plus, you can record 2.7K video at 240 FPS, which can be played back 8x slower to capture details that can't be seen at normal speed.

HyperSmooth has never been this good. It won the prestigious 2021 Emmy® Award for in-camera sensor and software stabilization. HyperSmooth 5.0 raises the bar even higher with Horizon Lock. Improved stabilization for 4:3 aspect ratio recordings and the AutoBoost function provide maximum stabilization with minimal image cropping. Cycling, skateboarding, skiing, or just chasing your children in the park - even in the shakiest conditions, the recordings remain stable.

HERO11 Black delivers professional shots by using a digital lens to keep the horizon straight. HERO11 Black's Horizon Lock function keeps the recording stable even if the camera rotates 360° during recording. Combined with HyperSmooth, Horizon Lock provides smooth shots that are perfectly stable. You don't need a gimbal or stabilization software for professional quality.

HERO11 Black is fully waterproof and at least as durable as its predecessors. It can be used versatilely for any adventure, because it is designed to withstand the rigors whether you are recording in mud, snow or water (up to 10 m deep). The durable and scratch-resistant lens protector provides even more protection and can be easily replaced if necessary.

HERO11 Black comes with the groundbreaking Enduro battery. Using advanced technology, the 1720mAh Enduro drastically improves camera performance in cold conditions while extending recording time by up to 38% in normal conditions compared to previous GoPro cameras and batteries. From now on, you can record your skiing, snowboarding and other winter adventures in harsher conditions than ever before. It also charges faster than previous batteries, so you have less time to wait and more time to hunt for adrenaline.

With the HERO11 Black, you can choose whether to record in 8-bit or 10-bit mode. The 10-bit color depth capable of displaying more than 1 billion colors ensures much more lifelike images and smoother color transitions.

This GoPro-specific lens reproduces the 8:7 aspect ratio footage captured by the new sensor as a wide-angle 16:9 footage. The result is an immersive video that captures even more of you and your surroundings.

The 8:7 aspect ratio shows more of the scene in each shot. The extra height makes it perfect for extra tall 9:16 vertical shots, or any other size you need for your social media platform. With the help of the GoPro Quik app, you can easily edit videos. The 8:7 aspect ratio is also great for photography, as this versatile format makes it easy to change the aspect ratio and other settings to fine-tune your shots after you've taken them.

With the help of the front and rear LCD displays, you can compose your shots perfectly. Use the large rear touchscreen to capture the scene in front of you, or flip the camera and use the front display to vlog. The front display is in high detail in live view, while the quick touch control on the rear screen makes it easy to switch between shooting modes and change settings on the fly.

HERO11 Black has three new Time Lapse modes, which you can use to make perfect videos after dark. Star Trails uses the rotation of the Earth and the stars to capture beautiful lights in the night sky. With Light Painting you can create brilliant light paintings. Vehicle Light Trails uses night traffic to capture stunning light trail footage.

HERO11 Black has two control options that let you choose between simple point-and-shoot or full camera control. The latter allows you to customize all modes and settings. That's simple
