The GL.iNet Comet PoE (GL-RM1PE) is a KVM switch for remote management of computers, servers and network devices over the internet. It transmits video at up to 4K resolution at 30 frames per second and supports two-way audio, with a latency of 30 to 60 ms according to the manufacturer. Access is through a web browser on Windows, macOS and Linux, with no additional software or subscriptions required.

Power is supplied via PoE under IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at, or alternatively through a USB-C port with Power Delivery (5 V / 2 A). A built-in 32 GB eMMC storage provides room for system logs, recovery images and configuration backups. Together with the ATX Power Control Board and Fingerbot, the device can also power on, power off and restart connected equipment remotely, and Wake on LAN is supported.

The compact 102 × 70 × 22 mm housing and a 3D-printable mount make it easy to fit into existing server setups. The Comet PoE suits IT administrators, data centres and home labs that need reliable remote access.
