Gér András László - Hegyen épült city

Over the years, the fall theologian conferences organized by the Religious Studies Department of the National Association of Doctoral Students have become the most prestigious international events and forums for young Hungarian researchers and doctoral students living in the Carpathian Basin who are committed to theological sciences. The enthusiastic community of the Religious Studies Department managed to launch and organize a series of scientific and ecumenical events year after year, which were attended by representatives of the Roman Catholic, Greek Catholic, Reformed, Lutheran, Baptist, Methodist denominations, as well as the Unitarian and Jewish communities, and hope participants will continue to arrive in the future. This volume offers a selection of the lectures given at the third, fourth and fifth conferences; the backbone of the volume is the edited material of the presentations of the third conference. 74 speakers from five countries came to the International Theological Conference of Young Researchers and Doctoral Students, which was held for the third time on November 24, 2012. Their presentations were given in six parallel sections under the professional guidance of university lecturers. Out of the six sections, a separate section specifically provided opportunities for lectures to master's students. We are very pleased that DOSz-HiTO was able to create a long-term tradition for the joint, high-quality cultivation of theological sciences, as well as for publishing them in conference volumes, regardless of institutional and personal changes. We believe that the studies published in this volume provide a valuable cross-section of the theological interest and expertise of young Hungarian researchers at the beginning of the 21st century.
