ND, ND1000 and ND/PL filters - light and special effects control
ND filters (ND8, ND16, ND32, ND64) darken the image in bright light conditions, allowing you to maintain the appropriate shutter speed – resulting in smoother motion and natural-looking blur. The ND1000, on the other hand, is a powerful ten-stop filter that allows you to extend the exposure time even in full sunlight - ideal for achieving a "silky water" effect or cloud blur. ND/PL filters (ND8/PL, ND16/PL, ND32/PL, ND64/PL) combine light reduction with polarization - reduce glare, e.g. of water surfaces while improving contrast and color saturation.
