Now, however, disturbing disappearances are disturbing the spirits of those living around Piazza dei Rospi, while the Guilds of Writers and Barbers are waging a bloody street war for control of the city quarter. The key to the mystery is a richly carved marble well, with a carving of an ugly goat frog at each of its four corners, and much worse things lurking in its depths. Among those who descend, there are those who await riches and battle glory, and there are those who meet a terrible death… down there, in the Well of Frogs!”

The Well of Frogs is the introductory adventure for the Dungeons and Companies role-playing game 1-2. level characters. The module contains a detailed description of the square and immediate surroundings of a big city with random encounters, dungeons, and strange figures living here. It offers several adventure options, which provides a basis even for the adventures started here to develop into a campaign, taking place within the ancient walls of Cassidum, in the lands of Kassadia or in the more distant regions of the Wandering Lands.

The printed edition of the adventure consists of a 32-page, handy, A5-shaped booklet, as well as a two-page map sheet with player and narrator maps, with a cover by Dorottya Fülöp and illustrations by Ferenc Fábián (Fefe), Vincentas Saladis, Graphite Prime, the Dead Victorians and the Robot Grandmasters.
