Product description
The Fischer PowerFast II wood screw features a countersunk head and PZ2 Pozidriv drive, making it suited to timber connections, pulling components together, cladding, and door and metal fittings. Made from steel with galvanised zinc coating, it measures 4 mm in diameter, 35 mm in length and 8 mm across the head, with a partially threaded shank of 24 mm.
The increased thread pitch noticeably shortens driving time. The triple-notched screw tip bites quickly into the material and acts as a pilot, while the shank flute ribs reduce driving resistance in a tangible way.
Suitable base materials include softwood, plywood, hardwood (with pre-drilling), chipboard, OSB panels and soft timber. The 100-piece pack comes in a folding box.
