    Product description

    The Fischer Power-Fast II is a universal wood screw with a countersunk head, measuring 5.0 × 45 mm. It comes in a pack of 50 pieces and is made of steel with a galvanised zinc coating, which provides adequate corrosion protection for indoor use. The screw is driven by an internal hexalobular (Torx TX20) recess and has a partial thread.

    The increased thread pitch noticeably reduces the time needed to drive the screw in. The three-ribbed screw tip provides a quick grip and pre-drilling action, while the drill ribs on the shank and the core geometry together lower the driving resistance.

    Typical applications include general timber joints, pulling components together, and fixing door and metal fittings. The screw is suitable for softwood, hardwood (with pre-drilling), chipboard, OSB boards and plywood such as multiplex.
