Faye Kellerman - Russian rulett

When fifteen-year-old Gregory Hesse is found dead with a single bullet in his head, the case appears to be a tragic suicide. But the boy's mother is unable to accept this and demands a thorough police investigation. Lieutenant Peter Decker, who knows the secret life of teenagers all too well, gets the case. After all, he and his wife, Rina, have raised four children and recently welcomed into their home Gabe Whitman, the highly talented and self-righteous teenager abandoned by his parents. Just a few weeks later, a sixteen-year-old girl - who attended the same fashionable and expensive high school as Gregory - also commits suicide with a pistol. Decker begins to investigate students living privileged lives in a world of twisted loyalties and frightening alliances. The question now is who will be the next victim. Then Chris Donatti, Gabe's father, a former assassin turned businessman, appears on the scene and puts an end to the case in his own way...
