Thanos is one of the most powerful supervillains in the Marvel Universe, a millennia-old Titan whose goal is to collect the six Infinity Stones, which he can use to destroy half of all living things in the universe, thus bringing it into balance. Nicknamed "the mad titan". The character first appears in Iron Man #55 in 1973, and has been a recurring archenemy ever since. Among the films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he also plays a prominent role in 2018's Avengers: Infinity War and its sequel, 2019's Avengers: Endgame. He is played by Josh Brolin in the movies.

In the third expansion of Marvel Champions: The Card Game, you and your fellow heroes must challenge the powers of Thanos. This hefty expansion features an all-new campaign spanning 5 exciting stories, pitting you against the zealous members of the Black Order, such as Aspismouth, Proxima Midnight, Corvus Glaive, and of course, the Mad Titan himself. As with previous expansions, these stories can be played individually or as part of a cohesive campaign, and the cards can be mixed and matched with previous Marvel Champions content. Of course, new heroes like Adam Warlock and Spectrum (formerly Captain Marvel II) will help you in the story.
