Fábián Janka - Koszorúfonat (2022)

"That's just the way the world is... as soon as another person becomes very important to you for some reason, you also become more vulnerable."

The news of the controversial events surrounding the Austro-Hungarian settlement of 1867 reached the Zemplén county estate, Ágfa. The two great-grandchildren, Ella and Blanka, are raised here under the protective wings of Lotti and Móric's daughter, Tinka. The fate of the girls is made worse by family tragedies, so they are forced to leave the property of their ancestors. But thanks to the aunt who got back on her feet, they find a new home in the currently rapidly developing capital, Budapest.
Ella travels to Switzerland to make her old dream come true and graduate from medical school. In the meantime, Lotti's third daughter, the bohemian and sophisticated Viennese lady, Aunt Charlotte, takes care of the upbringing of her younger sister Blanka. The two girls grow apart, but deep in their hearts they both know that they can count on each other for the rest of their lives... However, the appearance of a young man tests the love of sisters, while new tragic events tear the family apart. In the end, however, someone reappears from the already forgotten shadows of the past, with the help of which Ella and Blanka can escape.
