The sky-blue, gray-headed Spixi (Cyanopsitta Spixii) has died in the wild for 2 decades, but a breeding program hopes to be back in its old habitat soon.

Birds of smaller than other ara (about 30 decks) were first described in 1638 by a German nature researcher, Georg Markgrabe in the Brazilian Pernambuco Province, and was named after another German, Johann Baptist von Spix, who shot a copy in 1819 and took home to Munich. 200 years later, the species was declared extinct in the wild.

The completed size of the puzzle is 124 x 40.8 x 62mm.
