Erika Johansen - Tear ostroma

In the gripping sequel to the international bestseller Queen of Tear, the evil kingdom of Mortmesne lays siege to the realm.

The Queen of Tear, Kelsea Glynn, is learning more about her new duties every day. By stopping slave shipments to the neighboring kingdom of Mortmesne, he incurred the wrath of the Red Queen, a fearsome tyrant who feeds her power with dark magic. His dreaded and unstoppable army marches towards Tear to reclaim what is his.

As the Morti army approaches, Kelsea makes a mysterious connection to the time before the Crossing, and realizes that she has only one strange and possibly dangerous ally to count on: a woman named Lily, who is fighting for her life in a world where being a woman is almost a capital crime. Tear's fate - and with it Kelsea's soul - may depend on Lily and her story, and Kelsea is increasingly pressed for time to find answers.

Erika Johansen continues to weave the story of the favorite characters met in the first volume, including Mace and the Red Queen, and enriches the fate of her indomitable young heroine through time, full of magic and mysteries, with exciting new threads.
