"Passionate and charming." - AESTAS BOOK blog

Nicholas Arthur Frederick Edward Pembrook is the heir to the throne of the kingdom of Wessco, one might say, his dignified primal sexuality, amazingly attractive, irresistibly handsome and shamelessly conceited - but who wouldn't be if he was constantly being flattered?

But all of a sudden, on a snowy night in Manhattan, the prince meets a black-haired beauty who has no intention of bowing to her. Instead, he cuts a bowl of pie into the image of the prince.

Nicholas takes it into his head to find out if she is as tasty as her pie. As heir to the throne, he's used to getting whatever he wants.

Dating a prince isn't exactly what waitress Olivia Hammond imagined.

There was a constantly judging queen, an enthusiastically disapproving second heir, a group of merciless photographers and the prying eyes of the public.

Although they are on their way to the Roll Royces in a horse-drawn carriage, and no one has been decapitated recently, the members of the royal family are still far from accepting a commoner among them.
But for Olivia, it might all be worth it for Nicholas.

Nicholas grew up with the whole world watching him, and now they're about to do the same with his marriage. It's time for him to decide who he really is, and more importantly, what he wants in life: to rule as a king...or to be a simple man and possess Olivia's love forever.
