"To encourage the latent intellect to understand its own possibilities, and thus to make it realize that the possibility of metaphysics is the real possibility" - can be read in Edmund Husserl's program definition. The ultimate goal of the philosopher, who partially devoted his work to the critique of classical metaphysics, was not to discard metaphysics as such, but rather to reform it and place it on a firm foundation. It is to answer the "ultimate and most important questions". In this enterprise, the concept of truth played a distinguished role for him. Husserl examined the problem of truth on three levels: in everyday life, before scientific theorizing, in the field of scientific and finally philosophical research. All three levels of truth are interrelated and mutually interpret each other. In the broader professional public consciousness, Husserl's conception of truth is mostly the final foundation, the unshakable, "apodictic" the idea of striving for certainty lives on. One of the key theses of this book is that it is worth examining more closely what Husserl specifically says in connection with the concept of truth, in order to give this schematic picture some nuance. A closer analysis shows that, according to Husserl, truth must be understood as a network of evidences interwoven at all three levels; it is a system of interwoven and nested contexts at each level. Each insight shades and illuminates all others. However, this does not lead him to boundless relativism. Certain moments of older insights are always preserved, they just always mean more than before. This also applies to the truth of philosophical and metaphysical insights; and this ultimately also applies to Husserl's insights themselves.
