Intelligent temperature control
The glass globe thermistors in the arms of the straightener regulate the temperature of the air stream up to 16 times per second to prevent extreme heat damage to the hair and protect its natural shine.

PRCD portable residual current circuit breaker
Dyson engineers have designed it with your safety in mind, so the plug contains key electronic components. By placing these in the plug, the weight and size of the hair straightener have been reduced.

Styling wet hair
Dry and straighten wet hair at the same time. Airstrait™ offers three preset temperature settings in wet hair mode: 80°C, 110°C and 140°C.

Revitalizing dry hair
With the hair straightener, you can refresh your hairstyle even on dry hair. You can style your hair at a temperature of 120°C or 140°C. Optionally available with Boost mode for maximum formatting efficiency.

Intuitive airflow
The iron detects when the hair is between the arms and automatically reduces the airflow level when it is not between the arms – for quieter and more energy-efficient styling.

LCD display
The high-resolution color display shows the airflow and temperature settings for easy navigation during the settings.

Lock function
Slide the knob to lock and unlock the hair dryer arms. With the fixed arms, you can gently pre-dry your hair and give it more volume starting from the roots.

Automatic pause
The device automatically shuts down after three seconds of inactivity. Simply move it to restart airflow.
