This book is about killers and murders. Moreover, about those which - according to the police terminology - were considered high-profile murders during the decades called socialism, which in Hungary are only referred to as the Kádár era. They were highlighted because, on the one hand, they required special attention from the investigative bodies (at least in principle), and, on the other hand, because the public and the press of the time dealt with them more intensively. The cruelty of the crimes, the special relationship between the victims and the perpetrators, the objective and subjective circumstances of the murders really make these cases stand out from the usual criminal news.
