Dilemmák and stratégiák a family and work összehangolásában

It can be considered a classic topic, yet there is almost constant interest in researching work-life balance. That is why it was both easy and difficult for us when we started the OTKA research called Dilemmas and strategies in the coordination of family and work. It was easy, as we found it to be a relevant and "likeable" question. At the same time, it turned out to be difficult, because we wanted to do research differently and in a different way than the researchers who came before us. In order to research "something else", i.e. to guarantee novelty, we tried to find questions that are rarely encountered in Hungarian sociological forums. When formulating the question "how to do research in a different way", we were guided by the need to explore and present, in addition to classical approaches, methodological possibilities that provide novel research results, are at the same time easily accessible and feasible, reflect on the methodological dilemmas raised by the international literature, and do not last but not least, they should even be "trackable" for other researchers. We consider this to be particularly important so that researchers with less research experience and/or less research resources, as well as students, can get encouragement and help for this kind of work.
