    The DIGITUS USB-to-RJ45 console cable gives you direct access to the console ports of network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls and WLAN controllers, without needing a separate serial adapter. Its FTDI chipset (FT232RNL) handles the conversion between USB 2.0 and the RJ-45 serial interface.

    The cable is compatible with equipment from many leading manufacturers, including Cisco, Ubiquiti, Juniper, MikroTik, Huawei, Fortigate and TP-Link. It supports USB 2.0 and is backward compatible with USB 1.1, with a data rate of 75 to 128,000 bps in full-duplex mode. Nickel-plated USB-A connectors help maintain signal quality.

    The COM port persistence feature keeps the settings assigned to the port after a restart or reconnection. Installation is plug-and-play, and the cable supports Windows, macOS, Linux and ChromeOS. At 1.8 m long, it suits fieldwork and routine system maintenance.
