DIGITUS PoE Splitter provides data transfer and power over a single Ethernet cable for devices that do not support Power over Ethernet. Just connect the splitter's input to a PoE switch or PoE injector and the output side to a non-PoE network device such as an access point, IP phone or a camera to provide power and data. The Extender is powered by PoE, so no additional power supply is required. The output voltage can be adjusted to 5V, 9V or 12V with a dip switch. So this Splitter extends the network where you want to place a network device where there is no power supply.
