Karnomorphs bring a new invader species to the game with their own figures, tokens and specific event cards. It also introduces a new game mechanic - character mutation.

You jump out of the compartment engulfed in flames and slam the button to close the partition behind you. You take a deep sniff of the air - finally some oxygen! But then you hear ominous noises nearby - the organic sounds of crunching bones, snapping ligaments and splashing liquid. You carefully move forward and step out into the corridor. Your heart is pounding in your throat. The sight of a merciless bloodbath unfolds before your eyes. Everything is covered in blood, monsters are devouring bodies, their own kind and people. Maybe the burning cabin wasn't such a horrible place after all?
