A wealthy tycoon has died, but only the person closest to him can inherit his fortune. You get a secret persona, but you can pretend to be anyone in the game. Use a character's abilities to achieve your goal. Track down other players and explore their true personalities. Then confront your rivals with your accusations and eliminate them.

But be careful! If they are caught in lies too many times, they can easily find out your personality. With a false accusation, you are out of the game and you are playing the victory in the hands of your opponent!

Secret of the Crypt is an add-on to Munchkin, not a stand-alone game.
