This Delock cable converts a 15-pin SATA power connector into a 6-pin Slim SATA power connector. It lets you power a slimline optical drive, such as a slim DVD or Blu-ray drive, from a power supply that offers standard SATA power connectors. The cable supplies 5 V and has two power wires: black is GND and red is 5 V. The wire gauge is 18 AWG, and the length without connectors is approximately 24 cm.
Installation requires one free 15-pin SATA power connector in the computer. At only 10 g, the cable adds almost no weight and fits easily into any case.
The SATA cable is supplied in a poly bag.
