This Delock RJ45 network cable in Cat.6 specification features a built-in switch that lets you interrupt the network connection on purpose, without unplugging the cable. It is useful wherever devices need to be quickly disconnected from or reconnected to the network, saving the time a full reconnection would take.

The switch sits directly on the cable and breaks the active link with a single press. This suits IT environments, security applications or energy-saving operation of network equipment. The cable is about 0.3 m long, rated for 250 MHz bandwidth, and has an LSZH cable jacket.
