This PCI Express x4 expansion card adds four external USB-C ports to your computer, with data transfer speeds of up to 10 Gbps per port. It fits a PCIe x4 3.0 slot and is powered by Asmedia ASM3142 and VIA VL820 controller chips, making it a practical way to connect external drives, docking stations or other fast USB-C devices.

All four USB-C ports can be used at the same time and independently of one another. The card needs no separate power connection, as it draws all its power through the PCI Express slot.
