With this Delock reverse breakout cable, you can connect internal SAS devices, such as an HDD mounting panel with a Mini SAS HD connector, to a controller that has 4 SATA ports. Thanks to the metal clips on the SATA connectors, the cable clicks into place.
- SAS hard drives cannot be used with a SATA controller.
- If you want to connect a SAS controller with the SFF-8643 cable to 4 SATA hard drives, use the 83393. Delock product (forward breakout).
