Product description

The Delock HDMI EDID Emulator 8K is a compact adapter that makes a source device believe a monitor is connected. This keeps the signal active even without a display attached, and the source keeps its resolution. The adapter provides a standard EDID/DDC data set and can also read and store the data of a connected monitor.

It works bidirectionally, and the EDID data can be supplied either through the HDMI plug or the HDMI socket. HDR and HDCP are supported, and the maximum resolution is 7680 x 4320 pixels at 60 Hz, depending on the system and connected hardware. No external power supply is needed.

The anthracite metal housing measures only about 54.8 x 23.3 x 10.8 mm and weighs 10 g. An LED indicator and a push button make it easy to operate.
