This USB pin header cable from Delock connects USB 2.0 devices to the USB 3.0 pin header on a motherboard. It bridges a 19-pin USB 3.0 header to an 8-pin USB 2.0 header, so internal USB 2.0 components can be attached to a free USB 3.0 port on the board.
Because the connection goes through USB 3.0, the connected USB 2.0 devices receive enough power, up to 900 mA. Data transfer reaches speeds of up to 480 Mb/s. The black cable is about 60 cm long, excluding the connector, and comes packed in a poly bag.
Delock also offers optional pin header adapters, compatible with item numbers 41761, 41762 and 41764, for connecting standard USB devices. The motherboard needs one free 19-pin USB 3.0 pin header.
