DARRINGTON PRESS Candela Obscura: Core Rulebook kalandjáték szabálykönyv

enter a glittering yet sinister world where magic is not a blessing but a threat. The role-playing game Candela Obscura takes you to the turn-of-the-century city of Newfaire, which is a bustling metropolis on the surface, but deep down rests on the ruins of a fallen civilization. And among the ruins something dark is still awake.

In this game, you become a member of the secret society called Candela Obscura: a community of paranormal investigators, occult scientists and determined agents. You are tasked with protecting the inhabitants of the Fairelands and Newfaire from increasingly frequent supernatural incursions, all in an age that hides the true face of magic behind the scientific boom.

The system is built on the Illuminated Worlds engine, which allows for fast, cinematic and character-driven gameplay — the same framework used by the creators of Critical Role in their own Candela Obscura live-action series. The book is thus not only a rulebook for a role-playing game, but a direct gateway to experiencing the atmosphere that millions know from the screen.

The volume contains a richly illustrated, detailed world description, a catalog of occult phenomena, a description of the social and political forces of Newfaire, as well as complete detective cases and ready-made campaign initiatives.
