Daniel H. Wilson - Az Androméda evolúció

Fifty years have passed since a mysterious extraterrestrial substance brought to Earth by a satellite probe wiped out almost the entire population of an Arizona town in a matter of hours and triggered the greatest scientific crisis of all time. The destruction of humanity was prevented only by the self-sacrificing work of a handful of researchers.
In the half century since then, competing superpowers both on Earth and in outer space have been working in top secret laboratories to decipher and use the Andromeda strain, while the Sentinel project tirelessly searches for a possible new outbreak. When a strange anomaly appears deep in the Brazilian rainforest, it soon becomes clear: a new, more virulent mutation of the Andromeda strain has been released. A team of scientists must race against time to get to the bottom of the quarantine zone before it's too late - for everyone.
In the continuation of the Andromeda tribe, Daniel H. Wilson proves that he is a worthy heir of Michael Crichton, and The Evolution of Andromeda keeps us awake just like the unforgettable classic of Crichton, who created Jurassic Park and Westworld, among others.
