Main use:

CyberPower RMCARD205 is an optional management extension for CyberPower series UPS. By inserting the card into the UPS SNMP / HTTP network slot, users can remotely monitor and control devices in a back office, server room or data center via standard web browsers or a network management system (NMS) on the network. They also have the ability to perform monitoring tasks, including scheduled shutdowns, startups, and restarts. In the event of an error, administrators are notified by e-mail, SNMP traps, and SMS. With automatic shutdown software, servers and workstations are protected against data loss due to power outages. Event logging tracks the operational history of the UPS. With hot-swap capability, the system remains powered on connected equipment while a service person performs field commissioning or replacement.
