Product description
The creative filters of the French company Cokin have been helping thousands of photographers to take better pictures for years. Using the system is simple and great. Full filters: If the lights are not so beautiful, or the image is not exciting enough, you can modify the color scheme as you like by combining one or more filters. In the case of black and white images, you can use the yellow, orange, red, green and sepia filters, which can be used to change the contrast of the image. We can use FLW, FLD filters to change the color temperature. Or even ND filters, which can be used to wash out moving objects and people better, thus giving a special atmosphere to our image. Transitional filters: If the sky is not as beautiful as we would like, or if the weather is overcast and gray, then you should use these. With the transition filters, we can color the upper or lower part of the image to the shade of our choice. If we want to create a more blurred sky, it is worth using the transitional gray filters, which can even be combined with other transitional filters. The transition filters are available in different strengths, you can also choose whether you want finer or stronger transitions. If you use high resolution and don't want to sacrifice the tiny loss of sharpness caused by optical plastic filters, you can use Cokin's Nuances filters. Cokin has developed a new surface treatment technology for an even color surface. The new metal alloy is applied to both sides of the high-strength, heat-treated Schott B270 type glass surface in thousandths of a million layers, thus achieving high light transmittance and low light reflection. The result was an almost perfect, neutral light filter that perfectly filters out pollution in the infrared light range. Multiple Nuances filters can be used for one shot without color distortion. How to use: Cokin's sheet filters are very easy to use. An adapter ring, a filter holder and a filter are required for its use. Adapter ring: We place an adapter ring on the lens (the size corresponding to the filter size of the lens, which is indicated on the optics and on the protective cap). The A-size mount is compatible with lenses with a filter thread between 36-62mm, the width of the filter is 67mm. The P size holder is compatible with lenses with a filter thread between 48-82mm, the width of the filter is 84mm. The Z size holder is compatible with lenses with a filter thread between 52-96mm, the width of the filter is 100mm. The X size mount is compatible with lenses with a filter thread between 62-112mm, the width of the filter is 130mm. Filter holder: The filter holder must be pulled onto the intermediate ring from bottom to top until it clicks. There are two types of these, the normal and the wide-angle lens mount. This includes the filters we bought, for a more beautiful, perfect image effect. In the normal one, you can place 3 sheet filters at the same time, while in the case of the wide-angle filter holder, only one is possible, because otherwise it would hang in the picture, and in addition to the sheet filters, you can also insert a circular Cokin filter in the part closest to the lens (e.g.: polar filter). In the case of a camera with a full-frame sensor, the wide-angle mount should/should be used for a lens below 24 mm. Filter: The sheet filter can simply be pushed into one of the filter holder slots. You can choose a full or transitional filter, these can be combined in any way. That's all, we can go take photos!
