- When growing wild strawberries, avoid overfilling the container with water. Its roots are sensitive to excessive moisture and prone to root rot.
- If several seeds germinate in one capsule, thin them out and allow no more than two seedlings per capsule to grow. This ensures that there is enough space and nutrients for the plants to flourish.
- Remember to pollinate your plant by hand as soon as it blooms. You can do this by gently shaking the plant to transfer the pollen from one flower to another.
- As soon as your plant has started to produce its first fruits, cut back some of the tallest leaves along with the stems to allow more light to reach the center. Soon, more green leaves and flower stalks will appear.
