Purple chilies have very pretty white flowers with a purple border. Its fruits vary from bright purple to bright red. Fresh chili peppers, whether red, purple or green, are a rich source of vitamin C. Chili peppers are also a great source of antioxidants like vitamin A and flavonoids like beta-carotene, alpha-carotene and more.

Fresh chili peppers help the body cope with heat and pain and increase sex drive. The plant likes sunny places, and although it takes time for the pepper to fully ripen, its beautiful and tasty fruit is worth the short wait. Don't forget to pollinate the flowers for more fruit!

- Chili germinates a little slowly. You can speed up the germination process by raising the temperature to at least 26°C (79°F).
- If multiple seeds germinate per capsule, allow one seedling per capsule to grow to give the plant enough space and nutrients to grow.
- Do not cut or prune the purple chili pepper plant before the fruit ripens. The fruit and flower will appear at the top of the plant.
- As soon as your plant blooms, it must be pollinated by hand. Do this by gently shaking the plant to transfer the pollen from one flower to another.
- Please note! Only the fruit of the chili is edible, the rest of the plant is poisonous and should not be eaten.
- Purple chili pepper fruits ripen from white/purple to bright red in about 14 weeks from planting.
