- It develops best at the following temperature: 20°C to 35°C
- You can speed up the germination process by raising the temperature to at least 26°C (79°F).
- If several seeds germinate in a pod, let only one seedling grow. This ensures that the plant has enough space and nutrients to grow.
- Do not cut or prune the plant before fruit formation, the plant will produce flowers and fruits on top of the seedling.
- If your plant is blooming, it must be pollinated by hand. Gently shake the plant or use a small brush to transfer the pollen from one flower to another.
- Please note! Only the fruit of the chili is edible, the rest of the plant is poisonous and should not be eaten.
- Chili pepper fruits ripen from white/purple to bright red in about 12 weeks from planting.
- Friendly warning! As a precaution, always wash your hands after handling chili peppers. It is best not to rub your eyes or touch other sensitive parts of your body after caring for chili peppers.
