The Citizen CT-S851III direct thermal printer is primarily designed for catering, retail and kiosk applications, optimized for monochrome receipt printing. The device is capable of a printing speed of up to 500 mm/s, making it one of the fastest receipt printers on the market, with a resolution of 203 dpi and a printing width of 80 mm.

The printer has a 7.6 cm LCD display that facilitates setup and operation, with color status and error messages. It has a built-in automatic cutter (guillotine type) that can withstand up to 2 million cuts.

With tool-free maintenance, the cutter can be released in the event of a paper jam with a flick of the hand, and the long-life cutter unit can be replaced in just 30 seconds thanks to the Snap-In design. The device has a USB and USB Host connection, built into a black housing.
