Product description
FROM A FOOL'S ASS HOLE A FOOL'S WIND BLOWS FÚJTarsoly has been King Lear's fool for quite a few years, his task is primarily to entertain the princesses with Alpine - and, if the occasion arises, Altai - humor. However, when Lear, grieving because of old age, divides his kingdom and his daughters make cunning plans against each other and their father, Tarsoly suddenly does not know whose side to take. Armed with his sharp mind, the bitter truth and tinkling shoes, he sets out to save the kingdom with the help of a horned behemoth and a fallen knight. Christopher Moore does not disappoint his fans with his King Lear transcript either, as usual, he takes the well-known story from a surprising angle and packs it well with black humor, lofty monologues, luscious profanity and voluptuous white maids, while Shakespeare's ghost claws at his bald mane and begs for mercy... Christopher Moore was born in 1957 in Toledo, Ohio. His father was a highway police officer, and his mother was a shop assistant. He began his studies at the Ohio State University and then continued at the Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara. He moved to California when he was 19, and in 2003 to Hawaii. He currently lives in San Francisco. His first book - You have a devil! – Before his release in 1992, he worked as a carpenter, shop assistant, night porter, insurance agent, waiter and rock and roll DJ. Since then, he has accumulated success after success with his novels, the most famous of which are Biff's Gospel, and the Love Story trilogy consisting of the volumes Bloodsucking Demons, Totál hívás and Csak ek harápás. Moore's latest novel to date was published in the spring of 2015 under the title Secondhand Souls. "Moore writes in a modern, trollish, talkative tone. [...] Even his most unfortunate protagonists are lovable."Green Man Review"Bloody humor that imperceptibly mixes madness with drunkenness...addictive idiocy." USA Today "Unlike many authors, Christopher Moore uniquely weaves witty ideas, descriptions, and light dialogues with witty humor, and he does it all without breaking the momentum of the story or diluting it."
