The Canon Maxify GX2040 is a colour inkjet multifunction printer with external ink tanks, offering printing, copying, scanning and fax functions in one compact device. Designed for small offices with four to ten users, it also suits a home workspace. It prints at up to 1200 x 600 dpi using four ink colours, reaching speeds of up to 15 pages per minute in black and white and 10 pages per minute in colour.
The printer handles A4 paper and has one input paper tray, with automatic two-sided printing included. A flatbed scanner handles originals, while the 6.7 cm touchscreen makes settings and functions easy to access and control.
Connectivity is flexible, with Wi-Fi, wired network (LAN) and USB options. It also supports Wi-Fi Direct, Apple AirPrint, Mopria Print Service and Canon Print Service, so documents can be printed directly from mobile devices. The unit ships with an initial ink fill, ready to use straight away, and its grey finish keeps the footprint compact.
