C. L. Stone - encounters

Fifteen-year-old Sang and her family are moving to another city, so the young girl will start the school year at a new school. He is not saddened by the fact that he had to leave his friends there, since he never had them. His violent mother, who sees horrors everywhere, does not allow him and his sister to get close to anyone, she would rather not even let them go to school; and their father, who works all the time, barely participates in their lives.

One night, Sang decides to do a daring thing: he runs away from home to prove to himself that the world is not as dangerous and that not all people are brutal killers as his mother imagines. But his little adventure seems to be doomed from the start. Or not?

She doesn't even make it to the next door when she stumbles upon a young guy, Kota, and his dog, making her the first true friend of her life. Little by little, he gets to know the others: Victor, Garbiel, Silas, Nathan, Luke and North, who do not hesitate for a minute to accept him among them, even though he is not completely honest with them.

But the boys also have a secret, and they do everything they can to keep her from finding out about the mysterious Academy they've sworn to. Can their friendship withstand all this?

Encounters is the first part of a multi-volume series, from which we can get to know the key characters of the story and we can be excited together with Sang, whether he will be able to keep his new friends.
