Budenz József - Hungary krónikája

Ármin Vámbéry noticed the above manuscript and donated it to the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in 1860. Thus, the donation became one of the most valuable manuscripts in the Eastern collection. The manuscript is entitled History of Hungary. The work was presented for the first time by Vámbéry in the Academic Bulletin, and then József Budenz gave a treatise on the manuscript (our publication includes this treatise), which he praised with the following words along with some details: Mr. Vámbéry enriched the library of the Hungarian Academy with a literary memory, when he sent the very intriguing manuscript of our Hungarian chronicle, the only one of its kind, written in Turkish. "The Chronicle of Hungary guides readers through the history of our country from its mythical beginnings to the history of the Middle Ages.
