Nadia Turner, a rebellious, grieving seventeen-year-old beauty, is in her last semester of high school. While still mourning her mother, who recently committed suicide, Nadia becomes entangled with the local pastor's son. Luke Sheppard is a twenty-one-year-old former soccer star whose injury has forced him to work as a waiter in a seedy restaurant. Both are young, the whole relationship is not serious.
