Brianna Labuskes - Lépéshátrány

FBI detective Clarke Sinclair has been on a years-long, desperate hunt for a serial killer. Even though they know the perpetrator by name, the extremely intelligent psychopath leads them by the nose. Simon Cross falls for the red-haired women, and it seems that it is not the desire to kill, but the cat-and-mouse game with the police that drives him to his brutal actions. The man specifically sends his postcards, photos and puzzles to Detective Clarke, based on which he can find the kidnapped girls. If the police solve the mystery in time, they can still save the victims, but when the time limit expires, they will be executed by Simon Cross.
So far, the killer has always won, but now something has changed: after a red-haired girl, Cross immediately kidnaps a blonde. The change in pattern means new hope for Clarke, who is getting closer to the man and the kidnapped women. The game is coming to an end: who will be the last victim?
